CD Reviews

Good Christian Music
Michael Will | Shelby, Ohio | 08/15/2002

"This is the first of, as far as I know, five albums by Roby Duke.
All Five are Excellent. I own them all on CD. (For bruno 7 from bakersfield who is upset about not being able to buy Roby's music. Email me at willm@mc-mc.com and we might be able to work something out!) I really enjoy jazz flavored music and Roby infiltraits jazz into his contemporary style very nicely. I do love his music, but more importantly, I can tell by his lyrics
and the feeling by which he sings them Roby loves God! It is to
bad He's not still recording."
Still Sounds Fresh

"I agree wholeheartedly with some of the other reviewers. Roby's music was great in 1982 and it still sounds good today. Roby, if you are reading this please re-issue your CDs and make your music available for downloading. A new generation needs to hear your work."
Let him know we want another album !!!

"I have been able to also collect all five albums. Roby really takes off in jazz flavored tunes that are very heartfelt toward God. I remember as a new christian hearing this album, I was struck, it really shines of a heart in love with God, with a Jazz-Soul type stylings. I especially liked Oh magnify the lord, Rested in your love, and Seasons of change. Each successive album is better then the last. I was able to get Roby's email address from the unofficial Roby Duke website, it is Robyduke@MSN.NET. Let him know we want another album and how much we appreciate his music!"
