"During the 1960's two "boleristas" who captured the latin scene like no others shared the same first name. I'm referring to Argentina's Roberto Yanes and Cuba's Roberto Ledesma. Although their voices, their repertoirs and perhaps their styles were completely different both had other things in common besides their first names and the romantic bolero both chose to interpret and tremendously succeeded in doing so, their styles were original yet simple which I think won them the preference of audiences all over. In this CD Roberto Yanes sings many of the songs which made him so popular with hispanics and other audiences all over the world. "Lagrimas Del Alma", "Escribeme", "Buenas Noches Mi Amor", "La Montan~a", and bolero versions of American classics of the 1950's, such as Dean Martin's "Return To Me"/"Regresa a Mi" and Nat King Cole's "Mona Lisa". There are 20 romantic bolero classics in this unique compilation. If you are a bolero fan and enjoyed to hear Roberto Yanes, like I did, do not miss this CD."
