Synopsis

Album Description
The first solo album by Hawkwind poet, lyricist and frontman Robert Calvert was originally released in 1974 to huge critical acclaim. Featuring Hawkwind and special guests Paul Rudolph (of Pink Fairies), Vivian Stanshall, Brian Eno, Arthur Brown and Jim Capaldi, the album is a conceptual work of excellence and dark wit. Remastered from the original master tapes and with fully restored artwork, the Eclectic Discs reissue features three bonus tracks including a previously unreleased extended version of The Right Stuff (later covered by Monster Magnet) and is certain to appeal to the legions of Hawkwind fans throughout the land. The liner notes are written by Hawkwind's Nik Turner.

CD Reviews

Germans can't leave well enough alone

(4 out of 5 stars)

"Had to make it a fighter-bomber (just like the ME262). So many Hawkwind members on this, it's de facto a Hawkwind album, including "The Right Stuff" and "Ejection". The music alternates with spoken word sections, but it's all well done. I've never heard the original, so I can't compare the remaster quality. It's certainly an album that belongs in a Hawkwind collection."
Great!

"Recommended! Love this ,especially "The Right Stuff ","Ejection" and my favorite "Aerospaceage Inferno" . Also comes with a much longer "The Right Stuff" with a totally different mix. Buy this now!"
