'A Beautiful Ride'

"Rob White's debut CD, "Let It Ride," will take you on a musical journey of cool jazz, romance and dance. The journey begins with 'Fin De Semana (weekend)' where you are lured into a cool blend of saxophone and background vocals. Listening to the work on `I Wish I Wasn't,' brings back found memories of Najee and his `Sweet Love' debut.

This project can be best summarized by the song `Right There' you feel a little of everything, dance, boppin and some romance. The cut `Summer Groovin' shows Rob's versatile talent on both the soprano and the alto saxophone. But you will fall in love with this CD after hearing `A House Is Not A Home' (Luther would be proud), as well as the vocal-sax blending on `Love is' which are both melodic and beautifully matched.

This young saxophonist from Dallas, Texas has been burning up the Jazz scene in Indianapolis, Indiana the last few years and I believe we will be hearing a lot more of him in the future, but for now just relax and enjoy the Rob White beautiful musical journey and 'Let It Ride' ~the JazzeOne
