The Color Of Light, Rob Balducci's third album, is an ambitious collision of inventive songwriting, versatile guitar playing and a modernistic sonic framework. "I came up with the title of the album while watching a documentary about the painting styles of Picasso and Matisse. They came up with this term, 'the color of light,' which had to do with how they used shade in their paintings. I thought it was a very cool title. Music is related to painting in the sense that you're starting out with a blank canvas and then you create your own structure with musical colors just like a painter does."
