"Roadstar gives a good effort on their full length debut, but I have to say that the songs here just don't seem to have the same energy or replay value as those on their debut EP Get This (released under Hurricane Party). This still has the funk and groove infused blues rock, and it's a good album, but there's just something lacking. Maybe it's that an EP can more easily be all killer & no filler, or maybe these songs haven't caught fire in my head, yet. I don't know. We'll see how repeated plays treat it."
