Underrated first full length album by an amazing band.

"Most people who know about Roadside Monument know about the two albums that came out after this one: "Eight Hours Away From Being a Man," and "I Am the Day of Current Taste." Both of those albums are truly amazing recordings, but I must say that I was dissapointed to see that no one had reviewed "Beside This Brief Hexagonal." This album was released in 1996 after the band's debut 7"ep, "My Life is Green." Both the 7" and this full length are wonderful records that showcase the creativity and ingenuity Roadside Monument are known for to the select few who have heard of them. If you like the other two albums, I would highly recommend checking this one out as well. Every song creates a beautiful, emotive, sometimes schizophrenic musical expanse."
