Rise To Addiction's second album, Some Other Truth, is a collection of the finest modern classic rock by a young band that has a strong understanding of the history of the genre. The band is the brainchild of guitarists Steve Wray and John Slater, former members of ex-Iron Maiden vocalist Blaze Bailey's band. A follow-up to the band's highly acclaimed debut A New Shade of Black For The Soul, released in 2007 and produced by Andy Sneap (Killswitch Engage, Megadeth), Some Other Truth combines anthem-esque elements with melodic eccentricities, resulting in an antidote to the soulless and mundane music that litters the heavy rock scene these days.
