"More than 40 years after their initial release, RICKY (1957) and RICKY NELSON (1958) finally make their CD debut! BGO Records has done a nice job here, including original sleeve art & liner notes, while the sound is excellent, being remastered from original master tapes. Even with a growing stack of Nelson CDs, this was a "must" for me, as this CD contains 10 songs not previously released on CD before! Highlights: "Boppin' The Blues", "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On", "Your True Love", "Someday", "There's Good Rockin' Tonight", "Down The Line", "Unchained Melody", "Don't Leave Me This Way", "My Babe" and "Poor Little Fool". I only wish they'd included the non-LP singles from the same period ("I'm Walkin'", "Stood Up", "Believe What You Say", etc.), as at 56 minutes they had room to fit more."
