"Ok, all of you who actually bother to read this review would have heard 'Private Emotion' for the umpteenth time already on your well worn 'ricky Martin' CD. It's still the same song on this CD single, no changes, not even in the arrangement or instrumentation. So what's so great about it? Well, funnily enough, without all the other filler songs surrounding PE on the album, as a single this song actually sounds good here. For the uninitiated, Ricky sings a duet here (with Swedish songbird, Meja) and they hit it off well on this power ballad. His emotionally-charged performance makes up for his limited vocal range and any vocal imperfection is covered up quite well by Meja's pitch perfect backup vocals. Having said that, you really should get this single for the extras. Firstly there's the 7 minute DMC megamix. It's an amalgamation of 7 of his previous hits like LLVL, SAIEH, SYBB and Maria all rolled into one. It's one of those disco-type megamixes which you'll either love or hate. And if you pop this CD into your PC, you'll be able to view his performance at the Brit awards ealier this year. Yes, the 'Standing on the hood of the Jaguar' bit is there; so is the 'lady on stilts' part .... Been there, seen it...It's a sales gimmick, I know, all these extras. But if you're a Ricky fan, can you help not getting it anyway?"
