"This set is worth its weight in gold. You can start with the Rachmaninoff Preludes. They're not complete--Richter never recorded all of them--but these are the best performances of the ones he did record that you'll ever hear. I usually don't make absolute statements like that, but I've been spoiled. And the Beethoven is incredible--the Eroica Vars are white hot and sound completely spontaneous. The rest of the performances are just as distinctive...do yourself a favor and get this set, before, like Volume One, it goes out of print (or at least becomes hard to find). Lots of treasures, all in one box."
