"Ok, I bought this CD years ago because I am a fan of Bon Jovi. It was a great surprise to hear that fine and bluessy guitar from Richie playing songs of his own inspiration. Father Time and Stranger in this Town are two songs that can really make you feel in another place. Tico and Dave, form Bon Jovi, also help on some songs in what they do thier best: drums and keyboard. It is a must have for Bon Jovi fans and a great CD for blues lovers..."

"This album was overshadowed by the release of front man Jon Bon Jovi's Young Guns album which really was a shame. This was Richie's first solo project away from the band and you really hear song after song what a talented musician he is. From the skillfull riffs and melodies, and not to mention the numerous guest appearences, you see why Richie Sambora has such a following and is highly respected among his peers. The best tracks from the album are Church of Desire, Starnger in This town, Ballad of Youth, Mr. Bluesman, Rosie, and the Answer."
