Melodic and Memorable

"Richard Souther is not a newcomer to the light jazz arena. This is his best: it's breezy but not frothy, melodic and very memorable. A wonderful addition to any devotee's collection of electronically-enhanced schmooz. "Your Gentle Manner" is a sublime example: a song permeated with conviction and unusual depth."

"I really don't undertstand it. I have drawers of new age CD's that I listen to. I wouldn't classify this or his other similar work Heirborne as all that great, but somehow over the years these two CD's continually find their way into my player. I'd say these are probably most like Michael Gettel but without the showmanship. Its just kind of quiet comfortable music with just the right amount of variation between songs that just holds up to repeated listening"
