"The haunting string music from one of the strangest films of the Seventies. Best listened to on overcast Autumn days after the leaves have turned... you'll think you're hearing the sounds of God. Although this excellent film has suffered a lot of misunderstanding and negative criticism over the years, this CD showcases one of the ways in which the film is superior to the original stageplay: Bennett's harrowing score. You'll long to transcend the disappointing work-a-day world, and "gallop" in the fields at night like the story's tormented protagonist."
