"For me, this is the best album of Ricardo Ray in New York(1964-1971) The song called Jala Jala is considered one of the best compositions in the history of Salsa music. In this album you will find all his style, specially the power sound of his two trumpets: Doc Cheatham (was considered one of the best trumpeters of The United States)and Pedro Rafael Chaparro (from Venezuela).
This album has also the songs called Bomba Camará and Lo atara la arache, recognized hits between salsa fans. Its just an explosion. Rubén Córdoba

"My mom has had this lp for about 30 years or so and I didn't know who he was until we got a record player about a year ago and started listening to him. I must say that he has got to be one of the greatest latin jazz pianist of all time. My favorite songs are Richie's Jala Jala, Cabo E and Bomba Camara. So if you are in the mood for great old time latin music then this album is for you."
