Masterpiece of Shoe Gazing

"There is so much good about this album that it is hard to quanify in just one small review. This album perfects the sound sought by other Brit Pop "Shoe Gazer" bands in the mid '90's. Bands such as Ride, Verve, and Spiritualized. Using overlapping guitar tracks and soft vocals, Revolver creates a classic in the track "Shakesdown", building from bass and drums to the full band with Orchestra a'la "Stairway to Heaven" in just one example. This album is a must for the serious Brit Pop collector, especially if you like more conteporary "Shoe Gazers" such as Radiohead, Coldplay, or Elbow. Buy it and enjoy."
