"This is mostly a reissue of the criminally overlooked ATTACK LP of the early 80's, with Eugene and Faye substituting a few versions (stripping them down more). This was one of the funnest bands ever and these songs are so infectious... Scotland's greatest rock export ever. These guys make the B-52's sound like a funeral band. Also get their original Sire album CANT STAND THE REZILLOS (they changed the Z to a V after some personnel changes)which also includes almost their entire live album! This is great party music! Taking silliness to new heights! How could songs with titles like "Flying Saucer Attack" or "Bongo Brain" or "I Can't Stand My Baby" or the one that never fails to get me a little misty-eyed, "Somebody's Gonna Get Their Head Kicked In Tonight" be anything less than pure genius? You need this record. Everybody needs this record."

"Although this listing says it's "ATTACK!", the CD you'll get if you order this item is actually "Attack of the Giant Revillos". These are two different CD versions of the original album. "ATTACK!" from Captain Oi Records (item ID "AHOY CD 212") is the better release of the two."

Superior mix and master of this CD now available elsewhere!

"The songs on this CD are terrific, but the mixes and mastering are dull and lifeless compared to other Revillos releases. Fortunately a far superior version of this album, featuring lovingly resurrected band mixes that totally kick the butt of this CD, are available through Captain Oi records. The packaging is also far superior to this release. I have no idea why this newer release, "Attack!", is not currently available through Amazon, because it certainly should be. Another CD release of songs and remixes the band made for EMI, "Jungle of Eyes", is available from Captain Oi as well."
