"Woke up this morning to KPFK radio to hear, for the first time in my life, a single cut of the Thompson Community Singers lead by Rev. Milton Brunson. Within moments, I became a solid fan. I ordered two CD's from Amazon and ran out to a local store and bought 50 Blessed Years. This CD with its music, voices, instrumentals and arrangements is so gorgeous I was nearly in tears driving home listening to it. Religious or not, if you're a music fan, of any race, who loves jazz, gospel, or spiritual music, you will enjoy this brilliant work. Where you gonna get 30 plus voices like this on a secular commercial work? Not gonna happen! Who's been hiding this music from the general public?"
