"This is truly a masterpiece of jazz music. The All-Star-BigBand that plays on this record really sets the music, often in an oriental mood, alive. The album not only features excellent original compositions, but also a terrific performance and extraordinary solos.

My favorites are "Let This Blood Be On Us!" and "The Great Commission", both have great, touching singing and very melodic solos (especially Fritz Renold and Randy Brecker on "The Great Commission").

This CD needs its time as it gets better and better the more you listen to it, but leave it in your CD Player for a week and you'll never take it out again."
