"Man, the first time I heard of Reks, it was on a track with Rasco. Then he just started doing guest tracks with all kinds of other artists and I was thinking man who is this guy? Lyrics are nice, got great flows, man I hope to he drops an album soon. I didn't realize he already had one, and that he was from Boston which is home to another great MC we all have come to know and love. So, when I found out where he was from, I had even higher expectations of a great album. Boy, I definitely was satisfied. Lyrics of hunger are on every track, and most of the beats are good. Some of the beats kinda suck, hence the 4 rating instead of 5. (Whoever knows how to get that half star, let me know.) Get this album though, I wouldn't say it's a classic, but it definitely is worth a purchase"

"Reks doesnt lie when in track 2 he says "after this i gaurentee you gunna be committed to the reks for life". I had never heard of him, got an mp3, heard it and almost immediately bought the album. This is some of the freshest sounding rap you will find anywhere, Reks flows smooth like water, the rhymes are sweet, the feat. artists rock the album, every song sounds good. If you buy one album this year buy this one I can tell you now you gun be committed the reks for life.12 gauge

"Being an underground fan, and an MC myself I thought this CD contained some of the best material to ever come out of Boston. Reks gives the word "underground" a new meaning by combining dope beats with nasty lyrics. Unlike many MC's out, he actually has something to say besides how great he is and how wack everyone else is. After listening to the CD the listener can get a feeling about where Reks is comin from and what he's been through. Guest appearances include Esoteric, EdoG, Rasco, and many others. The best song is "Science of Life II" featuring A.l.i.a.s. of OVM. I think that even people who are not really underground fans will love this CD, because of the beats, catchy hooks and flavor that Reks brings to it. Big up Reks, O.V.M., Skitzo's - Keep your eyes open for Absolute Proof... PEACE"
