"This is a FUN and different Reggae CD and I love it more each time I play it. I danced to this band live a few weeks ago on a balmy night outdoors in Milwaukee and they were wonderful. This CD captures all of that positive energy and irrestistable danceability. Their tunes are very catchy and many are.. no surprize here.. lyrical lessons from the Old (and not so old) West over an infectious rock steady beat. Love the lead guitar...sometimes strangely reminiscent of Mr. Knopfler on the first Dire Straits album. They could have skipped the Bob Dylan number in my opinion, but all the rest which I believe were all written by them are good."
A GREAT ACCIDENTAL FIND

"Every so often I stumble on a really terrific group or cd that I end up playing over and over and over. That is what happened here. I was looking for reggae covers to use for a compilation cd and came across the mp3 downloads for this group. They are great and the music is infectious. "Reggae Rodeo", "Wild West Indian" and "Jesse's Theme" stand up to the best Alpha Blondy, Bob Marley and Toots & The Maytals music. "Get on your pony" for the ride. I also recommend the other cd from this group, "Tell the Truth." "Hotel California" is not as good as the Moonrisers version(s), but it is pretty damn good - especially played at window shaking, ear drum busting levels. I can't wait for the next effort from this unique group"

"Very unique....spaghetti western reggae. Refreshing guitar based sound. You will probably like this record if you're a fan of artists like Bob Marley, Steel Pulse, Ernie Smith, Mark Knopfler, Bela Fleck, Grateful Dead....."
