"A retrospective collection of the band's greatest hits from the 70's and 80's. Red Dress was THE original Seattle band before grunge descended upon the city. The music is a mix of beautifully odd ballads, funk, and raunchy "art rock" as they used to say....the studio disc is more listenable than the live disc, but don't overlook the great tunes on the live side."

"Seeing the reunited Red Dress recently prompted me to buy this double CD. They are an incredible band that should've been a big deal, but alas they were too original even for their time. One CD is live and one is studio so you get both experiences. A must have."

"I was lucky enough to live in Seattle most of my life and had the GREAT pleasure of seeing Gary Minkler and company many times. They always presented an amazingly entertaining and professional show. Gary's voice had such great depth and the band was always very very tight. You would have found it impossible to sit through a Red Dress show. I only wish there were more Red Dress music to buy. I never understood why they never attained national stature. It sure wasn't because they weren't good enough!!! This collection is wonderful and gives you a full picture of what these guys were capable of."
