"Yes, this album is quiet, but underneath is some considerable 'grit.'' The arrangements harken back to
early-mid-'60's Judy Collins & Joan Baez, but almost sound fresh in today's world. And the point of view is contemporary
IMO. There are also some references to 'Brit folk' artists like Pentangle & Anne Briggs. Very fine songs which 'get' to you if you give them a chance, esp. IMO "Thanks Just the Same," but others good too. Great album-- check out her label mate Erika Smith too-- another beautiful singer."
Amazing

"This CD blows me away. Imagine songs as hearbreaking as Townes Van Zandt's, sung by a voice as gorgeous as Linda Thompson, and with arrangements as elegant as Nick Drake's Bryter Later. Whoa. This CD is major -- don't miss it!"

"Rootsy, deep, chilling, joyous ... As heard on XM radio, this folkster deserves a major label, legions of fans and a long, long life for more musical fodder. What's next?????"
