"Don't even think of not buying this one. All six tracks are recorded during the time Raviji was soaring to the peaks of his career.

It took me a long time to find this CD. I was looking for the Raga Rasiya ( track 3 and 4 ). Track 3 is from its original EP only 3 minutes long and track four is a newer recording. This is such a beautiful raga and he plays it as if he owns it. I haven't seen any other musician record this legendary raag. Growing up in India we heard this one on Indian TV usually as background music for a agricultural show ! Raviji must've given away a lot of music thoses days. We heard so much sitar music as background music those days that it desensitized us to the sound of Sitar. I am glad that my interest in Sitar has be revived mostly because of these remastered CDs from days gone by.

All other ragas are very well performed, Jhinjhoti, Patdeep and Rajya Kalyan.
