"This is the live concert celebration of Indian music from Ravi Shankar! From the opening introduction on track 1 to the sounds enveloping into track 2, you'll find yourself in a peaceful state. It's as if Ravi himself is the mastermind, rhythmically sending out pulses of energy to his audience. The entire CD keeps this language of music till the very end! I listen to this CD at least 1 or 2 times a week, because it's very relaxing too! This version of Ravi Shankar live in concert from India truely captures that magic in live music from ancient times. For those of you who are into yoga; massage therapy, and or stressed out "Work-A-Holics", I highly recommend picking this one up fast. Sometimes the best cure can be found in music!!"

"I had this collection as a two LP set when I was a teenager in the 70's, and am overjoyed to find it on CD! The opening Vedic Hymn is worth the cost of the collection. Actually, that's also true of many of the other tracks. Whether you already love India's classical and folk music, or want to get to know Indian music, I recommend this recording with enthusiasm and pleasure!"
