"A personal favorite ... sublimely beautiful, meditative, refreshing music and improvisations. Perfect for altered states of consciousness or after midnight. As other reviews have mentioned, this album is for all intents and purposes Oregon (Ralph Towner, Glen Moore, Paul McCandless, Collin Walcott) at its inception - recorded November 1972 at Sound Ideas Studios, New York.
Most of the pieces center around Towner's 12-string guitar with sparse accompaniment from one or more of his Oregon associates. Bill Evans' composition "Re: Person I Knew" is included as a jazz reference point.
Classic must-own and excellent introduction for anyone who is the slightest bit curious about Oregon, or Towner."

"The very first album recorded by Ralph Towner, Glen Moore, Paul McCandless and Collin Walcott when they weren't even called OREGON. Mostly Towner compositions and a couple of Moore originals. Great stuff!"
Beautiful

"I think this is a good example of the soul's music. With lapses of intimate notes, and experimental sounds. Just beautiful"
