"This is a reissue of a fine album by Ralph Stanley & the Clinch Mountain Boys that was recorded and released - on cassette only - in 1985. It's a terrific recording of a lineup that featured Charlie Sizemore on lead vocals, and any fan of Stanley or bluegrass in general will enjoy it. At the time it was recorded, there was no better band in bluegrass, and this album takes its place with Stanley's best work of the period
The only problem is that if you are a hard-core Ralph Stanley fan, you might already own this. You would never know this from the artwork or the notes on the back cover, but this has previously been released on CD under the title "16 Years," by the Copper Creek label in 1995. This reissue has been remixed and remastered, and the sound has been improved somewhat. But Stanley's current record company, Rounder Records, should make it more obvious that this recording has been available on CD in recent years. For this reason, and this reason alone, it is docked one star in my rating."
Ralph Stanley great again

He has never sold out the music for money............I love his voice, I can listen over and over his CD's and never get tired of them. This CD is perfect!!!!"
