Rahsaan was wild live, and his studio recordings just don't have the looseness of his concert material. Like "Bright Moments", this also features a single concert, so you get a feel of the flow of the live show. The sound quality, however, is a little flat. Not bad, really, just not as full as I'd like to hear. This is evidently a private recording, rather than from a professional set-up. So, if you already own "Bright Moments" and "Dog Years in the Fourth Ring", do you need this? Well, no, but if you buy it, you sure won't be sorry."
