Disappointing

"As much as it pains me to say it, Raging Slab really fumbled the ball on "Sing Monkey Sing." The whole thing sounds like a blatant contractual obligation move, with murky production and distressingly tuneless, unfocused songs that go nowhere. Aside from a semi-catchy riff on the opening track "Shoulda Known," there's nary a memorable moment on the remainder of the CD. This is a band that can really tear it up live and most of their other releases are first-rate. Avoid this sludgy mess and go for "Dynamite Monster Boogie Concert," "The Dealer," or their self-titled debut instead."
