Great interpreters of Rafael Hernandez's music!

"I have this on tape and would love to have the CD. It contains wonderful versions of "El Jibarito's" great songs. Gilberto Monroig captures the sadness of "Lamento Borincano," Alfredo Sadel gives a humorous interpretation of "Ahora Seremos Felices," "... may God grant us long life, sweetheart ... and a refrigerator .. and a stove." If the fantastic rendition of "Cachita" doesn't make you get up and dance, you must be dead! Leo Marini conveys all the heartbreak in "Amigo" a story of betrayal by his best friend. And more songs by Puerto Rican greats Tito Rodriguez, Joe Valle, and Tato Diaz. It's a sin to let this go out of print!"
