RADIUM VALLEY is a French band formed in 2012 which develops a very direct and efficient modern dark metal in a musical universe at the same time Gothic, Rock, Electro and Coldwave. These soundscapes carry the listener into an extinct realm of darkness and desolate post-apocalyptic ambiance with melancholic songs. The band is influenced by artists like RAMMSTEIN, PARADISE LOST, GHOST BRIGADE, KATATONIA or TYPE O NEGATIVE, ... RADIUM VALLEY is currently working on strong stages performances with strong aesthetics. The general concept is a background in the 80s, with what have constituted a part of the current events and the culture of this period : Chernobyl, the new wave, the punk, at the beginning of the video game (there are many sounds 8bits in the electro sequences), as if the world had stopped in 86 after the Chernobyl's disaster and as if there were only some survivors, among which of a little damaged artists mentally by the radiations ... The first album Tales from the Apocalypse has been recorded and produced by Alexandre GRANVAUD & Romain JANVIET and mastered by Logan MADER (Darth Mader Music - Los Angeles : Machine Head, Soulfly, Fear Factory, Gojira, ...). It will be released by the famous label PAVEMENT ENTERTAINMENT (SOIL, Hed(PE), THE VEER UNION, TANTRIC, ... in September 2014. In recent years, the group has performed in France and Germany alongside many renowned artists such as SOLSTAFIR, ZEAL & ARDOR, NORDIC GIANTS, ELUVEITIE, STILLE VOLK, SUP, PUNISH YOURSELF, ARKANGEL, MARS RED SKY, MERCIFUL NUNS , ... or in other registers with, MORCHEEBA, The new album Landscape will be released in April 2018 and promises a musical and graphic universe in the continuity of the first album, while bringing a new touch coldwave more assumed at the level of singing and orchestrations rich and diverse. The artwork was entrusted to the famous gothic artist Daria ENDRESEN in order to best illustrate the music of Radium Valley.
