WHAT A LINE-UP !
emilieugo | 02/23/2001
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Hi, welcome to one of the best rock'n'roll album through the ages. What a line-up. Look : Stewart Copeland (Police), Clem Burke (Blondie), Brian James (Damned, Lords of the new church), Duff Mac Kagan (Gun's'N'Roses) and Wayne Kramer (MC5) united for the best (but not for the worst). It looks like it's a very democratic band where Brian and Wayne share the vocals and guitars. Most of the material has been written by B.James and W.Kramer and the combination of both legends is fantastic. Listen to songs like "Christiana", "I want it" or "Blame it" and you'll see they're not (only) doing it for the money. It sounds damned good for a bunch of old farts. "Czar Of Poisonville" is one of the best song written by Kramer (at last). Look guys, take the stage and don't leave it. The reason why I only put four stars and not five is that the song "nuts for you" is a very crap song compared to the rest of the album. It looks like a bad Keith Richards song and that upsets me a lot..."
