"I think the series of the Russia piano tradition were good treasure to piano music recording, especially includes some represntatives of the Russia piano history position, ex Igumov, Neahaus, Giles, Richter, Oborin and Zak.
This album it's more valuable beacuse some reasons,
1. It was a history record issued by Russia local, and arranged some excellent pianists to show, Richter, Oborin and Zak to perform Rachmanivov piano full concertos. We could compare the early famous records done by Rachmanivov himself and Horowize, to find their difference. I must say these outstanding juniors, to show different but as excellent as their senior.
2. Besides, we seldom found Oborin and Zak's sole play issued, althought they were the champion of the ist, and the 3rd international chopin piano competition. (In fact, Oborin was famous because of his accompanied for Oistarh on Beethovan violin sonata)
In fact, they were good to perform piano tone colorfully, a russia piano tradition, so that we can find it in this album, how did they show beautiful tone. They were matched fully to perform these concertos diverities and abundance.
Don't hesitate to own it, whatever are from collection or enjoyment
