the upbeat and romantic title track, to the saucy "Spike Heel", to the smoky & slinky "Broken Nose". Other personal favorites are the jazzy "Rain for Days", "Grasshopper" (an old fable with a new twist), and "Retrograde". Overall the whole CD is a good listen and a whole lot of fun!As a side note, I had the good fortune of seeing Ms. Garniez & company play at a small performance art venue in Cambridge Mass circa spring of '01, and she is every bit as good live as she is on her cd. Catch her if you can!" |
