"Seen these guys open for Godsmack in the fall of '99 and they just leveled the place. Seen them again with Static-X and they repeated the same feat. The comparisons to Rage are inevitable but Reveille have more to offer than the overbearing politics that make up Zach's rants. Dont get me wrong, I love Rage, hell...they rage! but Drews vocals demand attention, they are more personal and you can associate with what he singing about. The rest of the band are equally talented and they all mesh together perfectly. Not a weak number on this CD as all songs flow. My fave is definitely Untied though its difficult to really pick out a favorite track. I have owned this since November and it still gets constant rotation in my CD player. Met them too and they are the coolest guys (Carl, the bassist is the oldest at 20). Give these guys a chance to pummel you! See them live if you can, you won't be disappointed!"

"I don't see why people are mad at Reveille because they sound like Rage Against The Machine. Sure, Drew screams are a lot like Zach De La Rocha, but I mean, of course some vocals have to be a little close to each other, don't they? The rest of the music doesn't sound very close to Rage Against the Machine at all, as it is far heavier. It is very melodic, and I'd like to compare it more to One Minute Silence. I really don't know why, but I think it fits rainy days well. Laced is kind of poppy and could easily be on MTV, but thankfully I don't think we'll be seeing them on TRL anytime soon. It is harsh and political, as well as being fiercly angry. The only part that I don't really like is the fact that they're not very unique. They are too easily comparable to a lot of other bands, and bands like Incubus aren't. The whole CD is fairly listenable, and it's not something that you'll have a lot of trouble getting into. My favorite songs here are Permanent (Take A Look Around), Butterfly, The Phoenix, Splitt (Comin' Out Swingin'), and Flesh And Blood. They are a great young band and the best to come out of Boston since Staind. Some similar bands to check out are Downset, One Minute Silence, and Rage Against the Machine."
Great CD, a lot of creativity, good hard rock

"If you are a big Korn or Rage fan, I believe that you will really like this album. This album rocks harder than any album I have. Reveille are very talented musicians, who deserve a lot of respect for their unique style of music. In addition, Drew is also a great song writer. I saw them w/ godsmack a few months ago and they were awesome!"
No need for comparisons

"Yeah, fine, whatever, say they sound like Rage. Say they sound like whoever you want. The simple fact remains that this band has an intesity that is rarely seen in the nu-metal scene today. Yeah, lots of bands can make heavy music on an album. Then, you can see them live and wonder,"These are the guys that made this?!?" Reveille live is an experience that will leave you in awe. I first saw them at a small club opening for Powerman 5000. They put PM5K to shame. The show had so much raw energy that everyone in the entire room, whether they had ever heard them or not, started moving during the first song and never stopped. This album captures perfectly the energy they exhibit live. Songs like 'Butterfly' and 'Judas' just make your blood boil with power and angst. The album is an experience from start to finish, and no metal fan should be without it."

"I have their CD and have seen them live twice. I was into rap for years, and was looking to get into harder music. I happened to hear the song Split and it blew me away. B Real from Cyprus hill is on that track. The vocalist from Revellie smothered him. Butterfly is an amazing opener, it will get your adrenaline pupmping, I guarantee it. The best song on the CD is the Phoenix because the lyrics are great and the hook is really catchy. In Perfect World, the guitar is really good. My other favorite is take a look around. It has the Redman beat from DA GOODNESS and the hook is catchy. The CD is one that is impossible to get tired of. It will give you incredible energy on the most boring days.
