"We needed some sort of white noise for our 4 month old to be able to sleep while we continued to rattle around in the house. An actual fan not only made his room too cold, but also dried out his poor little sinuses. This CD is the sound of a fan (non oscillating) for an hour. If you put your CD player on repeat, then the only break in the sound is your CD restarting."

"Calming Electric Fan
This "white noice" sound is exactly what I've been looking for....short of using the "real thing"! The sound duplication is clear, the tape duration is about 70 minutes and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to relax, block out outside noice in order to concentrate...etc. I'm very pleased with my purchase."

"Helps me sleep like a baby. I was worried that its stopping abruptly at the end would wake me up, but it tails off gradually over a short time span (it also starts gradually at the beginning). I play it over and over the whole night. It nicely masks the clicking heels of the person above me who rises before I do and has no rugs. I'm waiting to judge whether it uses less electricity than two fans' running on high all night."
Too Short!

"The sound is fine, but if you put this on repeat there is an approximately 20-second gap where there is no sound. DOESN'T WORK FOR OVERNIGHT, JUST SHORT NAPS."
