"Folks, this album/cd in my honest opinion is simply one of the best live recordings ever! The quality of musicianship shines through this recording like no other. It is perpetual perfection. Also must mention the best sound quality live I have ever heard. Larry Goshorn cranks out the leads with precise perfection and ever subtle George Ed Powell lends a powerfull presence with his vocals and guitar. The pedal steel playing of John David Call is the best in the land. For anyone who plays or studies drums, Billy Hinds delivers both great sound and lesson to anyone in the biz. A must have. Get it if you can!! Only Segers Live Bullet and Lynynrd Skynyrds One From the Road can compare."

"Pure Prairie League is one of the best country/rock groups who were strangely ignored by music media. This album is the best "live" offering by the League. Good luck trying to get a copy on CD."

"I agree, This is a lost Gem and should be re-issued on CD. The songs are all solid and the performance is rock (country-rock) solid. John David Call on Pedal Steel has that great classic sound, I just love it.
I think the oly other Live CD of that period that is as good as it is Elvin Bishop's 'Live and Kickin'' Album.
'I Don't Want to Fade Away' is my favorite cut from the record. Enjoy
