"First of all I would like to give PA their props on this CD. Though they have not recieved the promotion on this album that they should have, they will not get their props. That's a damn shame too because this is a very good album. That is the fault of the record company and poor management because albums like this should be all over the charts. I like all 13 tracks some better than others but overall it is well worth the money to buy it, which is rare nowadays. Big ups to PA."

"Public Announcement has done it again. Another bomb!!!! From the uptempo, dance floor grooves of "Don't Hold Back", and "Rithickulous" to the belly rubbing bump and grind slow jams of "Slow Dance" and "U Tryin To Ride". My personal favorite is the slow burner called "John Doe", featuring Lele which plays on the art of creeping around through the eyes of both parties involved. Other cuts like "When I See You", "Lose A Love" and "Man Ain't Supposed To Cry" are those slow jams we fellas need when we done messed up. And for all the steppers, you won't be dissappointed, Step On Pt.II is for you. "Long Long Summer" will keep the party jumping too. This is a must have!!!! So pick it up and enjoy."
Very Good CD

"When i first got this CD in 2001, i played it for all my friends.
there were like who is that???? omg they are soo good.I was like thats public announcement.
Even though now in 2003 this cd would be considered kinda old, its worth getting. Even with out R kelly this group still can make some great songs. You can almost listen to this whole cd from front to back."

"It's about time they came out with their new album! I really enjoy their latest single, "Man Ain't Supposed to Cry" and finally saw the video! Fans won't be disappointed!... I also heard that Public Announcement will be opening up for Mystikal and Jagged Edge on their huge summer tour! That's gonna be awesome and I'm sure Public Announcement fans are all looking forwards to it!"

"Public Annoucement storm on the scene in 92 with a unknown R.Kelly after that release with such classics Honey Love, Slow Dance, She's Got That Vibe the rest is history for R.Kelly.. P.A re-emerged in 98 with their great debut with out R.Kelly No Work, No Play that featured one of the hottest ballads in a while Body Bumpin.. P.A returns with their second Cd on a new label RCA this album will prove once and for all that these fellas can stand on their own.. There is a couple tracks on this CD that have their mentor R.Kelly vibe on such tracks as the Latin groove " Papi" and the one of the best ballads on the CD Slow Dance which payes homage to their mentor R.Kelly and other artist like Keith Sweat, H-Town.. The CD finest points is when they slow it down on such other worthy tracks as Man Isnt Suppose To Cry, Lose A Love, U Tryin To Ride , Rithickulous.. For those they like up-tempo grooves there are a some very good tracks such as the title cut Dont Hold Back, Long Long Summer and the current hit single Mamacita.. They name this CD right Dont Hold Back simply because the fellas didnt hold back anything on this CD.. Pick this up music fans you will be glad you did .."
