"Psycroptic's "Symbols of Failure" is a brutal technical DM masterpiece and their best album to date. This CD gets more and more interesting with every listen. Drumming is impeccable and the musicianship on guitar and bass are outstanding. The songs are dynamic with jagged changes in direction. The riffage is non-stop and full of unexpected twists. The vocals by new front man are great. The low growling and shrieking mix brings nice color to the vocals. Alongside Spawn of Possession's "Noctambulant" this is my favorite recent CD. I highly recommend to fans of brutal technical death metal. The sheer musicianship will drag you in and you will love it more and more with each listen. The lyrics and artwork are awesome. This is a complete CD in all respects and an essential for any technical death metal collection."

Insanity metal at it's best

"I bought this based on what I heard from the song samples. If you love crazy technical metal with vocals that are completely insane, this is for you. It's a total package. Good vocals. Good music. Good concept and lyrics. Good artwork. Nothing not to like here. It's kind of like Brain Drill, but subsitute Techno-thriller for the grotesque cannibal type stuff."
