"A refined sense of melody in motion, capturing the lively patterns that surround us but are so easily overlooked." -- XLR8R Recorded live on KXLU in Los Angeles, Psychic Emperor strips down the sounds of their über-orchestrated debut album to knock out the songs on Communication with assured simplicity. Tristan Marcum (Vells) sings and plays guitar, while Darrin Wiener (Plastiq Phantom) plays bass, drums, and melodies on a Gameboy running LSDJ, all while mixing the session live to the airwaves.
