"OK, It's 1984 and I'm listening to When Doves Cry for the first time on my best friend's turntable. I never usually like a song the first time I hear it, but this one captures me immediately. With it's deep ethereal funk, Prince does great justice to this single with his suave throaty vocal stylings. Next time I hear this piece, it's as I'm entering Studio 54 for the first time (post velvet rope and new owners, but I'm excited). The aura of that environ with its red velvet, theatre balconies, and booming acoustics are just the place for this lyrically sexy tune. If ya wanna feel present with the Masterful Prince, then buy this CD, sit back, and groove with an era that evoked soulful sensual funk."

"Two Songs that Speak for themselves about One OF Musics Most Important Artists Ever.When Doves Cry the Feeling&Vibe of that Song alone still Blows The Mind.Purple Rain has so Many Rich Elements Going on Throught it it's Incredible.The Instrumentation on Both Songs are Very Tight."
