"This is apparently the only ever 'live' performance of the Pretty Thing's 1968 rock opera 'S.F.Sorrow' album in it's entirety.'Resurrection' was recorded on September 6,1998 at the famed Abbey Road Studio.I assume in front of a select crowd, you hear the appreciative audience. Two factors make this a should-have CD for Pretty Things fans.Even though the track listing is the EXACT same as the studio lp,Pink Floyd guitarist none other than Dave Gilmour plays on five(5)cuts here,"She Says Good Morning","I See You","Well Of Destiny","Trust" and "Old Man Going".I also wanted to mention that I liked "Private Sorrow" and "Baron Saturday"(always dug Twink's version as well).Plus,Arthur Brown provides the narration between songs.Good news is that if you get tired of hearing the narration after the first few times you listen to this disc, you can program your CD player to skip over them to JUST play the thirteen actual songs.Line-up:Phil May-lead vocals,Dick Taylor-guitar&vocals,Wally Waller-bass&vocals,John Povey-keyboards&sitar and Skip Allen-drums.Comes with a twelve-page booklet packed with informative liner notes and color photos from this very show.Long live British psychedelia!Enjoy."
