"Portrait is one of the best r&b groups to have surfaced in the 1990's. I keep "All That Matters" in the cd player at all times. It is good to see that they have a best hits album and have not been totally forgotten. I hope they have a reunion in the near future.....This CD is a "must-have" for your collection."

"Greatest Hits is Portraits first (hopefully not only) compilation of their hits from the 90's. The album first starts off with Potrait's debut single from '92 "Here We Go Again!". Portrait remade The Gee Bees' "How Deep Is Your Love". There's two versions of "How Deep Is Your Love", a ballad and an a capella version. Portrait also remade "Be Thankful For What You've Got" from the Addams Family Values soundtrack. "Honey Dip" is "a tribute to all women-no matter what race or size...."--Michael Angelo Saulsberry.Another "Heavenly" song is "Too Much Heaven". I'm sure y'all heard the ballad "Right Here Waiting". "Feelings", is an upbeat song you can dance to. "Yours Forever" sounds like a familiar 80's song. Yet another upbeat song is "Lovin' U Is Ah-ight". "Three Times A Lady" is one of them slow ballads. The third single off Potrait's debut album was "Day By Day". Check out all the whistling in "I Can Call You". "Much Too Much", the longest song on the album. "All That Matters" starts off with a long instrumental intro. "On & On" kinda sounds like "Yours Forever". But, I still like the song. This album is The Best Of Portrait-Chapter One, as Kevin Tong would say."
Time for a comeback!

"I loved both Portrait CDs that I know of. I still play the last one, "All That Matters", on a regular basis. Their voices are beautiful together and unlike many R&B guy groups of the early 90's, their songs were not about sex and being disrespectful to women. Their songs were romantic and sexy. They also wrote, arranged, and played all of the instruments on their albums. Like Mint Condition, these guys are a true R&B band - something you don't find much anymore. I hope they do make a comeback. I know of many people who miss their music like I do."

"That's it, the rest is filler. If you have the first two albums you will be ok. I'm just getting it for the remix for "honey dip" Now, we all know what the orginal version of "honey dip" sounds like *yawns* But the the remix is off the chain."
A throwback group...
