"ah, finally the long awaited comeback by pop/rock quintet Pollen hits the shelves. I was at record stores at midnight to purchase this new release. After their last Cd "Peach Tree," I wasn't sure if there would ever be a work of art to come close, but alas, there is. "Chip" puts a new spin on the world of music. Finally a CD that both parents and children of all ages alike can rock out together. From the opening lines of Caramel to the closing notes of Olive-Eyed your ears will be glued to the speakers of your stereo. This is a must have for fans of any type of music, and if you don't like it, than you can come and talk to me about it."
Where is the love for this band

"Not even the get up kids can combine the power of emo and the guitar aggression of punk so well. These songs make you want to pogo into you collapse or to go and fall in love with someone. These songs are what ferris buelers day off is to movies, something that makes you want to do something with yourself. With lyrics that talk about girls(getting together and breaking up), being in love and being happy with what life gives you. I first heard of them when I saw them with less than jake in april of 99 and they were the show stealers. I promise you, if you like punk, emo, indie or even just rock, you will absolutely love this album."

"Pollen's latest, Chip, is another great example of Bob's talented songwriting. 14 tracks of heartfelt emo/pop/punk that really make you feel the music. This album is a great buy, if u haven't picked up any of Pollen's earlier releases, at least try to get Peach Tree. This is a great band if u are into No Use, the Ataris, Useless ID...etc...kind of a cross between No Use and Foo Fighters... great stuff, keep it up Pollen"
