Amazon.com For their eighth release, the multiple-award-winning Point of Grace gathered together some talented friends (Nichole Nordeman, Christy Nockels, Out of Eden, Rachel Lampa, FFH's Jennifer Deibler, Jaci Velasquez, Jill Phillips, and Joy Williams) and set out to make a soundtrack for a series of fall 2002 weekend conferences and book releases aimed towards enriching the lives of today's young women. While worship numbers like "All in All," "Every Move I Make," and "Trust in the Lord" are appropriate here and warmly captured by others, it is the tracks by Point of Grace that lift this release up. To date, there's no one in any genre of today's pop music who can match the beautiful harmonies these women produce, as evidenced by the opening "My Heart Is Set on You," "All I'll Ever Need," and "The Love of Christ." Ultimately, treat this release as a special extra in the Point of Grace catalog… but don't let it pass for the real thing. CD ReviewsUplifting and catchy Sarah S. | Chicago IL, USA | 11/17/2003 (5 out of 5 stars) "This is the first Point of Grace CD I have heard, and now I shouldn't listen to any others, because they propbably couldn't compare!My favorites are "My Heart is Set On You", "You Are My All in All" "Every Move I Make" and "Promise My Prayers". "In the Calm" and "Breath of God" Are a little slow and boring to me, but that's just me. If you love soft, gentle songs this CD is for you. If you like upbeat and catchy, this CD is for you. If you love music that draws you closer to Jesus, this CD is for you! In general, this CD is for just about everyone!" Praise the Almighty! John G. I really enjoyed the interplay between the quartet or soloists and the chorus. It is a masterful stroke to do that. I think all of my neighbors have heard the album.I really like the fact that all of the songs have a Scripture base, like Psalm 108:1. My favorite song, on this album is "The Love of Christ." I could listen to this song alone for hours. It is really uplifting and inspirational. Point of Grace did itself proud to include other artists and a chorus."
