"I first heard this band in 1980 and have recently been looking to find American Excess. I can't find it so I bought this cut. What a pleasant surprise! This is American made rock n roll at it's tightest. What a wonderful sound. Great vocals, excellent guitar, just the right mix. Not a bad song on the album. Mean to your Queenie is worth the price by itself!"
Southern rock with a blues tint...excellent!!!

"Point Blank was yet another of that wave of southern outfits that appeared in the late '70's and "Airplay" was a solid offering. Their third release, it encompased great rock and roll riffs with some steady blues thrown in for good measure. "Mean to your Queenie" was a radio staple in the south and still should be. Other standout cuts include "Danger Zone" "Penthouse Pauper"(crank this one) and "Louisiana Leg". Great vocals from John O'Daniel and Rusty Burns on guitar(he plays it like Jimi) add up to some blazing music for your next party.....ROCK ON!"

"Mean to Your Queenie deserves a listen. The song influenced many greats from Lynard Skynard to 38 Special."
