"I raced out to buy In Seed Comes Fruit on the day of its release, and I was not disappointed. Frank Orrall has steered the band into a more soulful dance groove than in past releases. Orrall has let his bandmates contribute much to this effort, and lead vocal duty is shared. "Had I Known" and "You Move Me" start the disc out strong. "Keep the Faith" is a powerful song featuring moving voice samples from Orrall's dad and a family friend who had lost her husband--it's one of the best tracks on the disc. In Seed Comes Fruit is a disc that you can crank up and dance..., or put it on softer and provide a soundtrack to a simple gathering of friends or dinner party, something you don't find with most dance music. If you liked PdP's discs Pomegranate and Natural Thing, you're gonna love this! And if you find Poi coming to your town, do yourself a favor and go see them. They're even better live and a great night out."
Best CD I've bought this year

"I'm new to Poi Dog Pondering -- I heard a track from "In Seed Comes Fruit" on KUT here in Austin one morning, and bought it. I've played nothing else in my car for a month! The vocals are just amazing -- beautiful arrangements, dissonant in places -- and I love the flute and vibes on this album. I'm giving it as a gift this year to all my music-loving friends. It's moving, upbeat, great for dancing or just laidback listening."

"A rich tapestry of sound. Smooth and relaxing."
Poi pleases once again

"This is your typical beautiful poi cd. Even though it is a bit more synthesized than their earlier stuff, that's what I prefer. If you like liquid white light, natural thing, and their newer sound this cd was made for you. It is powerful...keep bringing it on pdp!"
...and the fruit is good.

"Poi has accompanied me through some of the best relationships in my life.
I bought this C.D. after hearing only one song, and after listening to the rest of them.....wow.
I bought this C.D. because I feel that I am on the verge of another new relationship beginning with someone.
