"Well to start off, this cd definitely is NOT as good as the Pleiadian's first album, I.F.O. But how could it be? I.F.O. was an absolute masterpiece. In addition, out of 7 tracks, I dislike 3 songs. So why 5 stars? Simple, the other 4 make up for the bad tracks. The first track that starts off the album, Headspin, is in my opinion the greatest song the Pleiadians have ever written. The energy and complexity of the song simply cannot be put into words. In addition, Meter and Family of Light are psytrance stormers, while Modulation is an incredible 16+ min journey of sound. I highly recommend this album for the experienced psytrancers out there."
Unique masterpiece of psychedelic trance

"I completely disagree that this album is any "worse" than Pleiadians' previous work, I.F.O. Family Of Light stands on its own. It is less abstact and more diverse than I.F.O. Whereas the previous album has more of a trance party theme to it, the new one has a broader outreach, and somewhat reminds Etnica incarnation of the band. Headspin and Moon In Your window are meteorically intense and make me feel just like I've received a 100,000 horsepower heart transplant. Modulation and Seven Sisters are long, exquisite jorneys into soundscapes full of discoveries. But still, my favorite is probably Family Of Light. This is something completely unique. It has so much power, scope, harmony, and mind control potential that I simply cannot describe it. Buy it immediately. $29 is not too much of a price for a whole star constellation in a box."
