"For completists only. It's true that Michelangeli was under-recorded, and the idea of having his last recital has a certain appeal, but the noise on this bootleg is louder than the piano - very distracting."

Temperament vs. Purity

"Always with Arturo Benedetti-Michelangeli, 'temperament' and 'purity' seem to go together without one being important than the other. This is not a professional recording done by recording producers but I find somehow the acoustic pleasing and real one can almost feel the air around the hall, and distance from which instrument is played, by one cherished so much the instrument, to harmonize a great deal in the process of making music."
