"Pyx Lax is propably the most succesful band in Greece, at least for the last decade or so.The power of their music in conbination with their lyrics and the soul of lead singer Babis Stokas are making them unique, and challenge everyone to "travel" with their songs. This is one of their best (propably THE best) cd's, with almost each and every song known to Greece. "Anoites Agapes" (Foolish Loves) is the propably most sensitive track with extremily good performance from Babis. Also "Ti Einai Afto Pou Mas Chorizei" (What's that that seperates us) with the powerful quitar motive is one of the most noticable songs. Other great tracks in this LP are "San Psema" (Like a lie), "Den Tha Dakriso Pia Gia Sena" (I wont get to tears for you), "S' Olous Dinesai" (You are giving yourself to everyone) and of course the marvelous "Lene Gia Mena" (They're talking about me), which has a great multi greek tempo and cant let you sit even if you dont know how to dance, you just let the rhythm drive you. For whoever wants to get a cd with GREAT music from Greece, this is the cd you're looking for, "For The Princes Of The West Oath"(and you wont regret it for sure)... Pyx Lax are the Princes..."

Healthy pop music with some local greek touches

"Although Pix Lax have repeated themselfs over and over all these years with their awfully similar albums , the greek music scene is lucky to have them . Greek pop music has been in deep crisis for over a decade so , in many ways this group has been a blessing .Pix Lax have a romantic lyric agenda and two good singers with melancholic charming voices . Listening to their music makes you happy for being a teenager. They talk mostly about lovelife troubles but that doesn't make them one-dimensional or boring . They also use various greek music instruments in their songs and that gives to their work an extra ethnical personallity . Non-greek persons should give this a try in order to discover a new fresh European pop sound . Greeks on the other hand should finally demand some kind of development from them or (if it's true that they have stopped working as a group) at least from their singers who now have gone solo ."
